Talking Indonesia Podcast: Social Mobility

Moving up the social ladder is a clear aspiration for many Indonesians – public opinion surveys show a large proportion of those who self-identify as being in the bottom two income quintiles predict they will have moved on within five years.  In this week’s Talking Indonesia podcast, Dr Dave McRae discusses these issues with Dr. Ariane Utomo, a social demographer from the School of Geography in the Faculty of Science at the University of Melbourne.
