Indonesia and the United States: 20 Years post-Reformasi

Over the past twenty years, Indonesia has undergone an extraordinary transformation – from authoritarianism to democracy, from economic crisis to one of the world’s most important emerging economies. On October 23, Dr. Ann Marie Murphy, co-founder of NYSEAN, spoke at the CSIS Southeast Asia Program on Indonesia’s path since the reformasi (reform) era, Indonesia’s relationship with the United States, and Indonesia’s future trajectory.
