Job Opportunity: LEO Lecturer I - University of Michigan Center for Southeast Asian Studies (Fall 2020)

The Center for Southeast Asian Studies at the University of Michigan invites applications for a one-semester Lecturer I position to teach one 3 credit courses starting August 2020. Responsibilities include planning and teaching SEAS 501/PICS-455, an undergraduate-graduate level interdisciplinary introduction to the study of Southeast Asia, including geologic, ecological, social, political, cultural, and language issues.  The appointment level will be 33.33%. 

Applicants will be selected based upon demonstrated subject matter expertise, demonstrated excellence in teaching, and departmental needs. This appointment opportunity is subject to final approval by the International Institute/CSEAS.

The deadline for applications is June 30, 2020. The anticipated date by which an offer will be made is July 13, 2020.
