Applications for SEARAC's 2021 Internship Program

SEARAC is seeking two dynamic, self-starters to assist in amplifying their Spring 2021 communications efforts and their field team’s mobilization and campaign efforts.


The Communications intern will work closely with SEARAC’s Field and Policy Teams to help amplify SEARAC's policies, activities, and priorities across various media channels. This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience multiple aspects of communications, fundraising, outreach, and national and state advocacy work. The ideal candidate is someone with excellent verbal and written communications abilities and a passion for social justice.

The Field Team intern will work closely with SEARAC’s Field, Policy, and Communications Teams to develop, execute and evaluate SEARAC's advocacy and partnership work. This internship is an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in various aspects of community outreach and education, coalition and partnership management, capacity building, program management, and national advocacy work. The ideal candidate is someone with an interest in policy advocacy, excitement around coalition building, and a passion for social justice.
