Tenured Professor of Vietnamese History

Harvard University’s Department of History and the Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations seek to jointly appoint a tenured professor to fill the Kenneth T. Young Chair of Vietnamese History. Candidates are welcome who focus on any period of Vietnamese history. The appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2022. The appointee will teach and advise at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and will contribute to the Harvard Asia Center’s initiatives in the study of Southeast Asia.

Applications should be submitted by March 15, 2021 and will be reviewed until the position is filled.
