AIFIS: Executive Director

The American Institute for Indonesian Studies (AIFIS) is seeking to fill the position of Executive Director. This position reports directly to the AIFIS Executive Committee (President, Vice Presidents, Treasurer, Past Presidents and the AIFIS Indonesia Country Representative – an ex-officio member of the Committee.)

This is a full-year position working an average of 35 hours per week (flexible) with salary range of $52,000-$62,000 commensurate with skills and experience. Term: 6 months initial appointment, with possibility of annual renewal, contingent on funding. Location: U.S.-based. Occasional domestic and international travels may be required. The position does not include health insurance or other benefits. Interested applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. AIFIS does not provide work visa sponsorship.
