In this paper published by NYSEAN Partner ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute, authors Benjamin Y H Loh and Sarah Ali examine Malaysia's relentless support for the Palestinians in the Middle East, and contrast that with its internal treatment and policy toward refugees and asylum seekers in the country.

Benjamin Y.H. Loh is a Visiting Fellow of the Media, Technology and Society Programme, ISEAS – Yusof Ishak Institute and Senior Lecturer at Taylor’s University. Sarah Ali is a PhD candidate at the Gender Studies Programme at Universiti Malaya, Malaysia.
