In this webinar, Yale’s Librarian for South and Southeast Asian Studies, Dr. Brandon Miliate, will present on his collecting activities for Southeast Asian Studies. After a short overview of the library’s collections and how to start exploring them, Brandon will talk about the ways that Yale has generally pursued area studies collecting, and what things he has been doing in the past year to build these collections as well as the changes he is planning moving forward. Attendees will learn about how librarians decide what to purchase, and how you can influence those decisions to make sure we have the materials that you need from term papers to dissertations.
