Join the Center for Southeast Asian Studies at Kyoto University for a book talk by Ken MacLean, Professor of Sustainability and Social Justice at Clark University. This book uses Myanmar as a case study to highlight the strengths and limitations of human rights documentation in combating disinformation and seeking accountability.

About the Speaker:

Ken MacLean is Professor of Sustainability and Social Justice and Professor at the Strassler Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Clark University. His research focuses on issues of social justice, human rights, and sustainability in his research and teaching. MacLean's interdisciplinary work often examines the intersections of environmental sustainability, human rights, and historical injustices, using a critical approach to explore how these issues impact societies and the environment.
