A student at Columbia College studying History and Sustainable Development. I am the Administrative Deputy Editorial Page Editor at Columbia Daily Spectator, undergraduate research intern at the Knight First Amendment Institute, and the Director of the Foreign Policy Center at Columbia Policy Institute—a student-run, nonpartisan, progressive think tank. I’m interested in continuing to pursue research and journalism to investigate bureaucratic administrative bodies in Southeast Asia, focusing on environmental and human rights issues in Cambodia and Vietnam. I’m passionate about increasing visibility for thoughtful, critical approaches to these issues by using my platform at Columbia to bridge the gap between progressive academic literature and mainstream public discourse.
