Bradley Camp Davis

A historian of China and Southeast Asia, Bradley Camp Davis examines violence, ethnicity, and environment during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. In 2017, the University of Washington Press published his first book, _Imperial Bandits: Outlaws and Rebels in the China-Vietnam Borderlands_ and his articles have appeared in several journals and edited volumes. He also founded the Yao Script Project in Lao Cai, Viet Nam, a Ford-funded initiative since 2007. He lives in New Haven.
