Born and educated in Manila, I migrated to the US in 1993. Graduate studies in art history with focus on contemporary art at CUNY. Currently editor at Artifex Press, New York. 25 years total as an art professional; 6 years of curatorial work at MoMA; 2-year Asian Cultural Council fellowship in the Philippines leading to subsequent projects there since 2005 (visual art, theater, film, and documentary video with sociopolitical content).
