Edbert Gani Suryahudaya

Gani is a Ph.D. candidate in Political Science at the University of Toronto, where he focuses on comparative politics and public policy. His dissertation explores the nuances of decentralization and the interplay between central and local governance in Indonesia. Alongside his academic work, Gani is a researcher at CSIS Indonesia, a prominent think tank based in Jakarta. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of Indonesia and his MSc in Political Science and Political Economy from the London School of Economics. Gani is also an active voice in political discourse, regularly contributing columns to various local and international publications.
