The Lontar Foundation
John H. McGlynn, a translator and publisher of Indonesian literature, has translated several dozen publications under his own name and, through the Lontar Foundation, which he co-founded in 1987, has ushered into print 200+ books on Indonesian language, literature, and culture. He has also been active in Indonesian art circles for decades.
