Md Intekhab Hossain, M.Sc. (Anthropology), Ph.D. (Sociology), is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology, Prabhat Kumar College, Contai, in Purba Medinipur district of West Bengal, India. Dr. Hossain is a former Lecturer in the Department of Sociology at Aliah University, Kolkata. His principal research interests lie in Cultural Identity, Racial, Ethnic Groups, Ethnicity, & Indigenous Peoples Studies; Transnational, International, & Intercultural Communication Studies; Peace and Conflict Studies; Anti-Discrimination, Racism, Violent Ethnic & Religious Conflicts Studies; Gender Inequality, Deprivation, & Seclusion Studies; Human Rights, Social Justice, & Non-Violence Studies; Social Change & Sustainable Development, Action Research, Ecological Balance, Community Revitalization, & Reflective Practice Studies; Cultural Diversity, & Multicultural Understanding; Study of Globalization & Social Dynamics; Global Issues, Global Citizenship, & Civic Responsibility; Cultural Syncretism, Inter-Faith Harmony, & Peace Studies; Study of Sociology, Social & Cultural Anthropology, Social & Cultural Theory; Study of Muslims & Other Minorities among many other topics. Dr. Hossain has published his research papers in various peer-reviewed journals of international repute.
