I am an attorney and policy analyst based in Washington, DC, with a longstanding interest in the politics and culture of contemporary Southeast Asia. I have published articles in New Mandala, the Mekong Review, the Asia & Pacific Policy Society's Policy Forum, and the Washington Post. I have presented at the past two sessions of the International Conference of Asia Scholars (ICAS). My book, The Durian Chronicles: Reflections on the US and Southeast Asia in the Trump Era is being published this year (2021)
