Currently senior adviser to IPAC (Jakarta) and adjunct associate professor in the International Relations Dept at NYU. Worked for Ford Foundation (1977-84); Amnesty International (1984-1988); Human Rights Watch (1989-2002); International Crisis Group (2002-2013) and was the founder and first director of IPAC (2013-2021).
