The University of Massachusetts Lowell (UML) is located in Lowell, Massachusetts, home to the second largest Cambodian community in the United States. UML offers several courses in Khmer language and culture and has an active Cambodian American Student Association (CASA) that hosts annual events to promote and raise awareness of Khmer culture. UML also has the Center for Asian American Studies (CAAS), which has hosted conferences and created the Web-based Southeast Asian Digital Archive (SEADA).
