Webinar: the Major Role of Religious Institutions and Leaders in Indonesia and the US in Mitigating the Coronavirus Pandemic

USINDO, in cooperation with the Indonesia-U.S. Council on Religion and Pluralism, held a webinar May 7 on the important role of Indonesian and US religious institutions in combatting the Coronavirus, with six top expert panelists, moderated by USINDO.

Panelists were Katherine Marshall (Senior Fellow, Georgetown University's Berkley Center for Religion, Peace and World Affairs); Imam Mohamed Magid (Executive Director, ADAMS Center); Prof. Azyumardi Azra, CBE (Senior Professor of Islamic History and Culture and Former Rector Syarif Hidayatullah State Islamic University of Jakarta); Yenny Wahid (Executive Director, The Wahid Foundation); Rev. Dr. Henriette Hutabarat-Lebang (Chair of Advisory Board, Communion of Churches Indonesia); and Dr. Siti Ruhaini Dzuhayatin (Senior Advisor to Deputy V, Executive Office of the Presidential Staff, Republic of Indonesia).
