Job: Research Fellow

The Department of Political and Social Change at Australian National University is seeking a Research Fellow to produce world-leading research on Indonesian politics and/or social change, and to teach, supervise students, and engage in service within the Department of Political and Social Change. The Research Fellow will report to the Head of Department and work closely with academic and professional colleagues across the Department, School, and College.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in political science or a cognate discipline with experience in conducting research in and on Indonesia, and be fluent in the Indonesian language. The candidate will also have demonstrated experience in publishing their findings in international peer-reviewed publications, teaching at a university level, and working collaboratively in teams. To excel in this role, the candidate will also have demonstrated potential to supervise graduate students and to win external research grants.
