Story of the Serpent: Cambodian Dance

The NYSEAN partner Smithsonian National Museum of Asian Art hosted the Cambodian dancer Mea Lath in September to celebrate the Revealing Krishna exhibit. Enjoy a traditional blessing dance and a contemporary work that explores the serpent deity, Naga, whose tale of being caught in her own tail serves as a striking metaphor for the experience of immigration.
