Virtual Workshop for Graduate Applications to UCSC SEACoast

Faculty and graduate students at the UCSC Center for Southeast Asian Coastal Interactions (SEACoast) are hosting a workshop to acquaint prospective graduate students of Southeast Asian nationality/backgrounds, with the process of applying to PhD programs at UCSC.

This zoom-based workshop will provide opportunities to develop your application materials through activities such as:
(i) reading articles and discussing their contributions and strategies to scholarship
(ii) workshopping drafts of Statement of Purpose

To be considered for this workshop, please submit this application form by September 20th, 2023.

Applications will be selected based on research relevance to the SEACoast intiative, and preference will be given to students without formal academic training in the US.
