Celebrating  Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia and 350 years since the signing of the Treaty of Breda, the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in NYC will host The Indonesian Street Festival 2017, a series of promotional activities movies, coffee, tourism, and various other cultural activities with the tagline “Indonesia, the Spice Islands”. 

As part of the series of events, IFF will present the first Indonesian Film Festival in New York and the east coast of America from 17-19 August 2017.  "Beyond Diversity" is the theme of The Indonesian Film Festival New York 2017 (IFFestNY 2017)  and it will include  selected shorts, animated shorts, documentary & feature films and an animation workshop by  an Indonesian stop motion animator.
