About the Speaker:

Zaw Min Yu is a renowned freelance professional photographer, who spent most of his lifetime traveling and residing between Australia, Europe, and Asia. Since the early 1980s, Zaw Min Yu has worked extensively on high-end commercial photoshoots, documentaries, travel photography as well as editorial photography. He is one of the pioneers in Myanmar’s photography fields and he has worked with many talented artists as well. He is a believer in originality and every time young photographers ask him about photography, he always replies with his signature statement: “Create your own identity!”
