Praewa Kulatnam

Praewa Kulatnam, also known as Wawa, is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Health Policy Analysis (Analytics Track) at New York University, set to graduate in May 2025.
Prior to her move to the New York City for her graduate studies, Wawa managed the portfolio of health services research and global health at HITAP, one of the leading health policy research institutions in the Asian region housed at Thailand's Ministry of Public Health. Her experiences blended technical expertise in health technology assessment (HTA), health financing, health economics and outcome research, universal health coverage design, and impact evaluation of health and social programs. Her projects included political economy analysis of COVID-19 vaccine financing and the development of Thailand’s national strategies on open data and digital health initiatives. Additionally, she also contributed to business development and partnership strategies to support HITAP's technical assistance and research collaboration with country partners in Asia and Africa, while managing relationships with key donors such as the World Health Organization, Gates Foundation, United Nations, and several academic institutes.
