Jillian Skonieczka
The Micro-Grant Mentorship Project; Vientiane College
Jillian Skonieczka is the co-designer and lead project director of the Micro-Grant Mentorship Project, a two-pronged education and social entrepreneurship opportunity project aimed at empowering Lao youth and young professionals with the forum, opportunity, experience, confidence, training, skills, and mentorship needed to design, implement, and secure funding for their own community development projects through practical skills in English grant writing. She also lectures at Vientiane College. Previously, she served on a field-level small and micro-enterprise strengthening project in Laos, as a Fulbright grantee to Laos, and in policy, research, and coordination roles at two bureaus of the U.S. Agency for International Development in Washington, DC. She is currently based in Vientiane, Laos.
