Learn about classical and contemporary dances from Cambodia, their role in Buddhism, and their connections to Cambodian art on view in the Sackler. Members of the Sophiline Arts Ensemble in Phnom Penh demonstrate dances, with discussion facilitated by Emma Stein, Curatorial Fellow for Southeast Asian Art. These performances are presented in conjunction with Encountering the Buddha: Art and Practice across Asia.
