Sidney Jones, Director of the Institute for Policy Analysis of Conflict (IPAC) in Jakarta, will outline some of the ways that COVID-19 has affected security issues in Indonesia, from pro-ISIS extremism, to conflict in Papua, to stigmatization of religious "super-spreaders." She will also look at the potential security ramifications of extended economic hardship as the consequences of the COVID-19 crisis sink in.

The event will be moderated by Margaret Scott, Adjunct Assistant Professor at NYU Wagner.
