ONLINE EVENT: Tenth Annual CSIS South China Sea Conference, Session Two

The CSIS Southeast Asia Program and Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative are pleased to present the Tenth Annual South China Sea Conference: Session Two. This monthly webinar series will provide opportunities for in-depth discussion and analysis of developments in the South China Sea over the past year and potential paths forward.

This session will feature a panel discussion on legal issues in the South China Sea including pathways for dispute resolution and management, and will feature the following speakers:

  • James Kraska, Chair and Charles H. Stockton Professor of International Maritime Law in the Stockton Center for International Law, U.S. Naval War College

  • Robert Beckman, Head of the Ocean Law and Policy program, Centre for International Law, National University of Singapore

  • Moderator: Gregory B. Poling, Senior Fellow for Southeast Asia and Director, Asia Maritime Transparency Initiative, Center for Strategic and International Studies
