SEACoast will be discussing Teren Sevea's book, Miracles and Material Life: Rice, Ore, Traps and Guns in Islamic Malaya. They intend to use the first 90 minutes for discussion, and they are delighted to have Dr Benny Baskara, visiting Research Associate at UCSC Anthropology, to start the event off with some questions.
