He was born in Myanmar (formerly known as Burma) and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s in International Affairs from SUNY Albany. During his graduate studies, he served as a Graduate Assistant at the International Student and Scholar Services at SUNY Albany. He also gained valuable experience interning as an Asylum Casework Intern at the International Rescue Committee and as a Programming Intern at the International Center of the Capital Region. His expertise in refugee resettlement includes roles as a Resettlement Aide and Caseworker at Catholic Charities Family and Community Services. He currently works as a Post-Resettlement Case Manager, where he helps individuals rebuild their lives and integrate into new communities.
