Description:

50 years ago on April 30th, 1975, the Vietnam War ended. April 30th is a day that encompasses many emotions and perspectives including those fleeing violence and war, looking for life elsewhere after the destruction of their homelands. Fifty years later, the impacts of the Vietnam War on the memory and psyches of Vietnamese across the world are still felt as generations of Vietnamese people attempt to navigate and define their identity. Join the Vietnamese Student Association of Yale and distinguished faculty from across Connecticut for a movie screening, Q&A panel, and reception on April 30th at HQ L01 and HQ 134 as we mark 50 years after the end of the Vietnam War, and reflect on its impact today.
